If you’re new to privacy, start with the biggest wins first. This page will evolve as we publish more guides.
1) Do the basics (30–60 minutes)
- Use a password manager + unique passwords
- Turn on 2FA (prefer authenticator app or security key)
- Update your OS and apps
- Review key privacy settings (browser + phone)
Use the full checklist: Privacy Checklist.
2) If you need a VPN, pick it for the right reasons
A VPN can help with network privacy (public Wi‑Fi, ISP profiling) and reduce tracking in some situations. It won’t magically make you anonymous. Choose based on: logging policy, jurisdiction, security track record, and usability.
(We’ll add a full VPN buyer’s guide + recommendations as more content lands.)
